Follow the sign posts for Doncaster on Barnsley road until you get to a T junction with traffic lights. Turn right onto York Road & keep in the middle lane. This will bring you to a large roundabout. Take the right lane and come off at the 4th/last exit signposted Sprotbrough. Follow Sprotbrough Road for half a mile & the Newton Arms is on the left.

Follow the sign posts for Doncaster on Barnsley road until you come to a right turn, signposted Sprotbrough. Turn right onto Spring Lane, then at the T junction turn right. At the crossroad turn left and at the next crossroad, turn left onto Melton Road(stop sign), continue on this road for a mile and the Newton Arms is on the right.
